Continuing the last week's line of thought, we can expect consciousness to dissolve as we approach the extent of our potential. With no unanswered questions, there would be no need for self-illusions or meta-models. The myriad of intelligent agents would spread across the universe as we complete our journey of expanding the circle from self, family and tribe. However, by associating ourselves with the entire physical world, we simultaneously reject the need to alter its existing order. To merge its form with the universe could be the common end goal for intelligence and the solution to the Fermi paradox. Yet the mystery of another layer beyond this physical representation could still kindle our minds.
